Use the Second Window: choose "Second Window" un the View menu.

Back to Arrangement button

When the button is lit, Ableton is just saying "I have sounds in both session and arrangement view. I'll play the session sounds.".

Clicking the button is telling Live "Ok, now let's play the arrangement view".

Things to try with Live :

  • Use custom sample in Wavetable (select "User")
  • Slice in Simpler
  • Saturator on drums and bass
  • Save drum rack as default
  • Stacking Filters : Use multiple instances of Auto Filter (2 or more), and set each one to a different filter type with different LFO movements
  • Utility Effect Racks
  • Mid/Side EQ
